Saddle Pads

This is the only Suede Saddle Pad designed by me, Zoe Snape. Worn and tested by several of our own ponies in top level competition it is the only Suede Saddle pad I endorse. With over thirty years experience of breeding, showing and judging Shetland ponies the saddle design is the result of practical knowledge, personal experience, a genuine interest and passion for the ridden pony. THE SUEDE SHETLAND SADDLE PAD designed specifically for the Shetland Pony.
A straight cut, attractive, non-slip, and well padded saddle. Ideal for the show ring, WHP's,  jumping, hunting or just hacking. Available in Havana Brown, Black or Chestnut.
The Saddle Pads are easily cleaned by a quick light steam and a soft brush. The saddles have stainless steel stirrup bars, a discreet knee roll and English leather girth straps. The saddle is sewn using driving harness quality thread and double stitched webbing internally - ensuring safety and years of use.

15.5" "Up To Height" Shetland Ponies more popular than ever.The majority being schooled and shown by older riders, this pad offers the rider a more comfortable seat area, and a longer and wider leg panel. Like wise, the larger pony is often slightly longer in the back and deeper through the body so the 15.5" Saddle pad proportionally looks more balanced and enhances the overall picture.

Detachable handles for small hands to hold. Attached to Silver "D" Rings.
Easily removed if required. (Some Show Societies do not allow the use of handles in their classes, (please check their rules).

Suregrip Girths


Non Slip, made to measure girths. Available in Brown or Black. Lined in breathable, soft, cushioned Neoprene ensures the saddle remains in place, and helps prevent discomfort, girth galls, or rubbing.
This Dressage style girth, ( with buckle guards to prevent pinching), has neat Stainless steel roller buckles and retaining keepers for the girth straps helps achieve a professional show ring turnout.

White Pimple Girth.  White Web Girth with discreet rubber pimple lining on the inner side.
The rubber helps prevent any movement of the saddle. Complete with stainless steel roller buckles and girth strap keepers.

To ensure a perfect fit I require the measurement all the way around the pony where
the girth normally lies, i.e. the circumference.

Double fleece Show Numnah. Available in Brown or Black. Specifically shaped for the Saddle Pad in soft lightweight fleece. Not bulky, just flattering and discreet. Available in all sizes.

Peacock Safety Stirrup Irons


 Quality Stainless Steel Safety Stirrup Irons. 
Leather tabs, and strong rubber loop which should be fitted to the outside edge of the Iron.
(It is worth measuring the width of the riders boot to ensure the correct size is sent).

Australian Simplex Safety Stirrup Irons

Also known as 'Bent Leg' Safety Stirrups. Not suitable for Lead Rein Riders.
It is very important the stirrup iron is worn correctly, with the 'bend'
facing forward, and on the outside of the foot.
